dang...hubby just came home and said the price of gas went up another 20cents since yesterday (it went up almost 50cents in the last week)...for a total of almost a dollar more /gallon.....knew I should have filled up on presidents day

and yeah we had some nice rain yesterday...wont complain since it could have been feet of snow!!

Ya all those storms were south of me. Had some thunder and lightning but nothing close to severe. Had some epic winds today though.

And wow...I never thought about putting them in the fridge...I really can't wait to be done with One Piece so I can go back to having a "normal" life where I don't forget simple things like that.

The weather here has been nice : sunny and around 61°F in the afternoon.

sigh.....cant wait until its spring and 61 here (still 40's here...and still windy~~~~~).
bleh never liked one piece, but seeing as I am female and its geared towards men, I guess I am not surprised that I never liked it.

it is quite amazing what you forget when you live in a different place--though my 2 years in japan didnt make my native english any worse,

but I did forget a few things---coming home after that long I had to remember how to drive again (good thing I didnt drive in japan as they are quite backwards and drive on the wrong side of the road

)

well, red, enjoy your time there--its a great experience you are getting and I am sure you will remember it for quite a long time after wards (if not just for the snow!)

It's been in the 50's here but dang windy. Might storm tomorrow but who knows. Doubt it will be anything severe.

I have lived no other place than where I am currently living. I have stayed in the area my whole life. Though I'm sure that will change eventually.

Tomorrow is Friday, today was payday. Good times.

yeah I was the same ...lived in the house I was born until I went to college, after my first year we moved (dad died, mom couldnt handle the house anymore), moved a bunch of times while in college and grad school...and about every 3 years there after....I STILL have boxes I havent opened since my frist move---and yeah I should go thru them, but they are in the back of the spare room piled on top of....miles away from seeing the light of day--------

havent moved since I got back from japan--but seeing as I sent enough boxes of stuff home my last few months I was there (and boxed stuff up all the time, talk about a small apartment)...I think I have done enough moving for now.

The next time I plan on moving will be to my OWN home that I had built for ME! (now to convince a mortgage company to give an umemployeeeed person a loan

)...

Ya, I can't wait to own my own home. With a yard. Would give me something to do on the weekends. Want it by the woods to with trails. That would be the best.

dang thats a pretty nasty looking storm headed east...watching the 'weather' channel (never bothered to show my local on the 8's...).....looks like more than 50 tornadoes and its still headed east!

had a nice nap this afternoon....(hubby took me out to lunch)...think its just that kind of day to have a 2nd nap---

march is always a messed up month for weather--easier just to be prepared for everything.

Indeed it is. It snowed yesterday and is supposed to snow today. Then be 60 on Tuesday with rain? What? Uhh ok so ya. Weather is definitely crazy.

Yes, if you are looking at the time posted. It is correct. It is in fact 5:17 AM CST here... I am taking my fiancee to the airport to catch a 6:45 flight. She has a conference to go to. So I have been up since 4:30. I made her breakfast (orange rolls) and am driving her to the airport tonight and picking her up tomorrow night at like 10:30, on a work night. She best be appreciatin'!

well at least early flights usually are on time---its the later ones that get canceled or delayed (esp with the silly weather we have been having)....

orange rolls sound good----we stopped at our favorite bakery yesterday so I have a croissant for fiep and some chocolate muffins.....YUM!

She got to her destination just fine. Easy drive to the airport and back. Was back in my cozy bed sleeping by 6am. 10 min drive to the airport. Who knew it was so close?!?! Now I just have to hope her flight is on time on the way back... I don't really want to be out till 11-12 at night waiting to pick her up when I have to work the next day.

Oh why hello snow. You must not have got the memo. You are supposed to visit in December, January, and February, not really March. Especially when you haven't been around much at all. Supposed to get an inch today. Not enough to cancel school but enough to coat the ground.
